what is reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction, relaxation, and healing on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level. The word ‘Reiki’ is a Japanese word meaning ‘Universal Life Force Energy.’
A Reiki session usually involves the client laying down on a massage table or sitting in a chair fully clothed. Mackenzie will gently place her hands on or above you, allowing Universal life force energy to flow through to you to facilitate healing. Reiki helps activate and release stress and tension from the mind, body & soul. Reiki will help to clear energetic blockages in your system and balance your chakras so that you can feel a greater sense of well-being and vitality.
During sessions, most people slip into a state of very deep relaxation and calm. You may notice heat in different parts of your body, tingling sensations, old memories resurfacing, etc. Every session is a completely unique experience. Mackenzie may offer to share intuitive insight that comes through during the sessions if you are open to receiving that information.
